I have a Samsung SyncMaster 2243BWX monitor. Have not needed to use the 2 usb ports on the side of it. Now need to, and they don't work. Plugged in a camera and and external drive, and it does not make either one available. Checked at Samsung site- not really useful. Much obliged for any info.What is wrong with the usb ports on my Samsung monitor?You did link the monitor up to a USB port on the system with a USB cable?
Unless your monitor is using a M1 cable you will need a separate USB cable to link the USB hub in the monitor to the system unit.What is wrong with the usb ports on my Samsung monitor?Do you have a USB cable from the computer to the monitor? You need one. What's in the monitor is just a USB hub.
