How do you put the Samsung Solstice on complete silence?

I just bought the Samsung solstice and I was wondering if there is a way to completely silence the phone. I'm talking no ringtone nor vibration.How do you put the Samsung Solstice on complete silence?There should be a widget on your widget bar that looks like a blue rectangle with rounded edges and a white amplifier, tap it, then tap Silent. OR do:

1. Menu

2. Settings

3. Top of the page~ tap Sound Profile

4. Tap SilentHow do you put the Samsung Solstice on complete silence?go to settings then sound profile click on silent (the word) or click on the word normal or go to ur home screen and use the arrow keys on the side. i have the phone its charging and on the computer so im just telling u what i know. i hope i told u right
