How do you transfer files from PC to Samsung Intercept?

I have plugged my phone (Samsung Intercept) into my pc via usb cable and im not sure where to go from here because the phone does not seem to recognize that it is plugged into a pc. I want to transfer some music files and photos from my pc to my phone.|||you half to get a mini SD card to put into your phone. the card also comes with a normal sized SD card that you put the little one into and then you will treat the card like a USB stick (thumb drive) and then take and put them on that way
