How can I send or receive picture messages on my Samsung Tocco Ultra?

Hi everyone, I recently bought a Samsung Tocco Ultra but I can't send/receive picture messages on it. If i get one and I press "retrieve" it always fails. I've tried going into settings but can't find anything. Can anyone help?? Thanks.|||Hi Chris,





I'm part of Vodafone's Web Relations team and would like to offer some help and advice.





I've seen this problem a lot of times when people buy a handset independently of their network provider.





Usually if you get your handset directly from your network, it'll come with the correct settings pre-installed - if you've bought an unbranded or "vanilla" device, it won't have any settings as Samsung wouldn't have know who would be using it.





Sometimes, the handset will have a range of profiles in the settings menu - if the handset is second hand it could be that the previous owner was on Pay as You Go whilst you're on a pay monthly contract, or the other way round - if that was the case then you need to check wither you have the Prepay settings or post pay, depending on which service you currently have.





If there are no settings in the device, you can get the correct settings sent to your handset from the samsung website:

Choose your network provider and they'll send you the correct settings out by text message - save these and you'll be able to retrieve your pictures (the quickest way to test it is to send yourself a picture by MMS ;-) )
