I just bought a samsung intercept from virgin mobile. Does it receive picture messaging?

I want to send all my pictures from my old phone to my new one before my old phone gets shut off. I've tried sending them but the new phone hasn't got any. I've even tried sending them from a different phone and it still hasn't worked. Anybody know how i can get my old pictures from my old phone onto my new samsung intercept?|||hi did you try by put it on up to a sd card maby u can try by bluetohoot or by messging
