Why does my Samsung 52" HD TV have a red lune across the bottom of the frame?

My tv is a 52" samsung plasma and i noticed today that a lune has appeared across the bottom of the frame. The screen is fine and the picture is still perfect, but i was wondering why there us a red line on the frame?|||short answer is it shouldn't, if under warranty i would get it checked out
