How to get the back cover off of a Samsung Mesmerize?

Simple question for most people but not me. I am not cell phone savvy so i am a bit confused. I just bought a Samsung Mesmerize a few hours ago and I am trying to transfer some things from my old memory card into the phone. My problem is, I can't figure out how to get the back off of the phone to get to the memory card. I don't want to accidently break it beings it is new. Could someone help me with this simple task?
