Headphones for samsung messenger 2 dont work?

I got the samsung messenger 2 from cricket,i got 2 headphones, 1 1.30 mm or what ever and it fits perfactly,and the other 1 i got goes into where the charger is/usb port,but both headphones aren't working :[ Help!|||why dont you go to the store, and simply tell them your problem, and maybe they'll give you new ones!
