How do you connect a bose 321 to a samsung tv?

I bought a samsung led tv and for the life of me i can not get the bose 321 to work. The sound will just not come through. And it's really frustrating.can some one help.|||You will need to connect your cable box audio out to the 321 audio or aux in. Your television actually stays out of the connection. You will connect your cable box to your television via an HDMI cable.

Good article about surround sound:

https://www.installingflats.com/Articles…|||Hi, you don’t specify which model of Samsung TV or which type of connections you are using, also you say the “sound will not come through,” do you mean through the Bose speakers or the new TV? At best I can just give you an overview, and hopefully it’ll be enough to point you in the right direction. It might also help to edit your question or re-post with as much detail as you can think of.

If you connected the TV via HDMI cable from the Bose, ensure you have selected the Bose as the default audio option in the “DVD Audio” option within the Bose onscreen menu.

If you are trying to connect another device, there will be two signals from your source device (Cable Box, Etc.) One is audio and one is video. The video signal must be routed from the source to the TV. Depending on the TV and source device you usually have at least a couple of choices on the type of connection you choose. Sounds like you’ve already got this bit rolling.

For the Bose you must route the audio from the source device directly to the chosen input on your Bose. I.e VID1, VID2, or Aux. Then select the appropriate input on the Bose front control panel. So video to the TV, and audio to the Bose. It is important to run all audio through the Bose as this is where your surround sound is decoded and routed to the various speakers. The TV cannot do this. Hope that helps.
