How do you answer texts while talking on the Samsung Impression?

I have the Samsung Impression cell phone. Whenever I'm talking on the phone, and someone sends me a text, I always hear that they sent me one, but I never know how to see it.


How do you text, while talking? And how do you open texts that are sent to you?
