I have a samsung wave gt-s5253 and it does not support avi files. I recently purchased a samsung glyde and it is the worst phone i have ever owned! It actually made me hate life. The women who I was dealing with had told me that 9 out of 10 of those phones get returned. They are poor phones. So I listened to her and I got the LG Dare. I bought the Glyde back in Sept %26amp; I have had lots of problems with it. Sometimes the touchscreen wont work %26amp; other times I push one button, then another goes off! I have gotten the software updated, but it still is a pain! I do want to throw it out a window!

It calls people, turns off by itself all the time, sometimes the OK button wont work, sometimes it will push buttons on its own ( like it will just be sitting there and I will look at my phone and all of a sudden the * button is showing up on the screen and I push end and it keeps doing it like over and over!), one day I was texing and it would make random letters capital, also, the buttons on the full keyboard and the front (mostly the full keyboard) barely work so you have to press them really hard to make them work. And I have had three enVs!

How to get music onto my samsung impression?
I recently purchased a samsung impression which came with software and a cord for the computer. i can import music into the software but i cannot figure out how to get the music from there onto my phone. the software is called PC Studio. any ideas?How to get music onto my samsung impression?1: put music onto PC studio
2: connect your impression, install drivers, and touch PC studio option when it pops up on your phone
3: click on search (PC Studio) and select your device (make sure Bluetooth is off!)
4: click and drag your music onto the icon of you phone when it comes onto the PC studio Desktop.

I had to open the entire keyboard on my Samsung RV510 to clean out some components which are now fully functioning.
However, I am finding it incredibly difficult to reattach the ribbon cable to the motherboard, as the keyboard itself is not detachable; everything is attached together. If anyone knows an easy way to reattach the components easily, especially the ribbon cable, that would be very helpful.

basically they all have the same type of locks to hold the ribbon in place. Lift the edges of the lock up and the ribbon slides in place, press the lock down to secure the ribbon. If you don't lift it the ribbon will not go back in place, once in place when you press down the lock clamps the ribbon.
Many ribbons are quite short and you may need to perhaps remove some cards that have attached ribbons to be able to get the right angles to lock things in. The keyboard on most laptops has to be stood up on its top edge, whilst you try and lock the ribbon in place from a very narrow space under the lower edge. A small flat bladed screwdriver will help, but make sure it is not sharp edged or you risk puncturing the ribbon and it may then no longer function.

I bought a Samsung camcorder several months ago and I have made a few videos and I want to upload them to my computer but I don't have the necessary cable or wire to connect both devices. The procedure for firewire is the same for every DV camcorder, but the capture setting choices in your editing program may be slightly different from another program. The only negative issue is that video capture through Firewire is dine at real time. This means that if you recorded an hour of video, it will take an hour to capture it.
Any camcorder that record using the AVCHD or MOD/TOD format needs a USB cable and transfers video like transferring photos from a digital still camera. These cameras include those that record to miniDVD, Bluray disc, flash memory, and hard disc drive (HDD).

If you have a mini dv (cassette) camcorder鈥?
Your dv camcorder needs a firewire connection (ieee 1394) in order to download video, your PC probably did not come with a firewire port, so you will have to buy one and install it, since most computers (except possibly brand new) don't come with a firewire port, your camcorder did not come with a firewire cord so you have to purchase a cord too. Your camcorder did come with a USB cord and that is used for downloading stills from your camcorder. Make sure your camera is in playback mode.
The fine print in your manual makes reference to firewire (ieee 1394) connection.

You will have to finalize your dvd in the camera and then put the dvd in your computer's DVD burner (top loading only) and then you will have to convert the files (I downloaded handbrake file converter free) and import them into your editing program. Use the HELP feature in your editing program to learn about editing. Once you are ready to burn, your project will be burned to a different DVD and you can file the original away.
